THE RUN-DOWN OF WHAT TO EXPECT
After you've looked through my work to make sure you enjoy my shooting style, and dropped me a note to tell me a little bit about yourself (or your family, or you as a couple - all depending on what type of session) and what kind of photography you are looking for, I'll get back with you as soon as possible. We will then be able to discuss the date, time, and location of your session, as well as go through any questions you may have.
As soon as we decide on a date, your session goes on the calendar and we can begin planning! I have multiple pages here on the website to help guide you as you prepare for your session, from what to wear to what time to plan your session. I am a natural-light photographer, so all sessions will be held outdoors (not including newborn sessions, in which I will use window-light). I want you love your session, so I'm all-ears to hearing any special ideas or fun thoughts you may have that you would like to incorporate into it!
I photograph life and love. Those are the two things that are going to be most important for me to capture on my camera the day of your session, so whatever you decide on wearing, and whatever location you choose - we're going to plan on having fun, being silly & trying new things, laughing a lot, enjoying the life we've been given and the love we share with those closest to us... and, of course, take some pictures together that you will be able to cherish for a very long time. ;-) Although I do direct with some posing, I'm all for candid, natural, and genuine expressions and moments - everything that makes you and your loved one(s) specially and uniquely YOU.
